Ya, and with proper cooling you can get 3.6ghz. Thats the norm.

Last night I benched at 3.8ghz and it was nice and stable. I'm trying to push up to 4ghz daily without sending too much voltage into it (less then 1.5v's at least).

What about the Q6700.. guaranteed G0, most of them are low VIDS, 10x Multiplier

i just received my q6600 on wednesday and I got a G0 version.

You really shouldn't care if you get a G0 or B3 Q6600, if I got a low VID B3, I'd be a lot more happier with that then if I got a High VID G0..

But the B3 chances are really low to get, most of them have been unloaded on somebody

You could talk to Inferno and he'll check the batch numbers for you and they are G0. I believe he sells them for 175

Just out of curiousity....... Why do you not want the dual with 45nm?.........
Not sure why you'd swicth with the q6600 being 65nm.

Isn't that a backward upgrade?

because its still a great processor and for the money theres nothing really to compete with it.
