Need help NTFS -> Fat32

Yes you are right... I searched it and FAT32 isn't made for anything above 40 and thats where NTSF comes into play:beard:

I have a Westerb Digital 80gb 7200rpm HDD and use Fat32. I tried NTFS and Fat32 and ran benchmarks on cached and uncached speed etc. The NTFS didn't perform as well as the Fat32 file system. Therefore, I'll be sticking with Fat32.

NTFS is a much more efficient file system however it may not be as fast as FAT32.

thats why ms put ntfs in win 2k (nt 4.0) and xp, instead of fat32, as hdds are getting so big
