Sony Vaio, Start up Problem, Help! :(

Hey there... I have a Sony Vaio laptop, which has worked quite well up until now.

It dosen't want to start up at all. It will load past the 1st few screens (Vaio , Windos XP etc..) then i get a blue screen :O and the error is "Virtual Driver Interface Failure".

So i am no expert on laptops, I wouldn't know how to even reformatt it, tbh. Can anyone advise me as too how i fix this problem?

if you have those vaio recovery disks throw 'em in
or if you have xp disk that would probably work too.
