i'll be stuck running a p4 dell computer for about a month until i buy all my new parts...
750i, gtx280/260 w/ waterblock, 2gb ddr1066,
gonna need some more tubing too.. and a work bench.. i'm done with cases
as for the cpu... i don't really know....

how about the E8600? The new E0 revisions are awesome. Saw one doing 4.25ghz at 1.25v

they are out in malaysia, should be out in the states next week or so.
I have a 1.225vid E8500. Does 4.275ghz at 1.44v, anything over that requires more voltage which I'm not really wanting to put through it.

exactly why i booted mine away...
after testing over and over again.. that run i had for 4.67ghz.. i don't thin it was possible with anythign under 1.63v or something around that
POS cpu...
i accidentally left it running 1.6v for the whole day yesterday... lol
guru in your opinion... what would be better... getting a gtx280, or buying a gtx260 w/ a waterblock

If you plan on volt modding then the GTX 260 with waterblock...otherwise theres really no point in putting it in the loop at all TBH. So if you dont vmod then get teh GTX 280.
You can also wait for the 55nm GTX cards to come out, I think they will be out sometime in august.
