alright. well after further review. When do you guys think the GTX 280 will drop to around mid $300's

By then, the 55nm Revision will be out, and it'll be outdated (like our former favorite the 8800gtx)

We don't know the exact date of 55nm GTX280, so if you want to upgrade then get GTX 280 now because I really don't think that there will be any huge difference between then thr 55nm GTX280 and 65nm GTX280.

Lower price, less heat, higher clocks.


Sounds worth it to me.

GTX 260 is much cheaper though, id rather one of them.

High end cards drop in value way too much...i can't see my self spending more than $300 for a card, and even thats a bit steep.
