Haha "Guaranteed To Not Dramatically Explode".
On a more serious note though a quality PSU is a vital component. Do you think they contacted the manufacturer with the vid?

:p

I have a good PSU in my Athlon desktop, it's nice and has worked great. However, when rebuilding my dead Celeron (rebuilt it with a cheap Sempron motherboard), I went with a cheap $13 power supply. Within a few months the cheap thing shorted out and failed, but luckily Newegg sent a replacement, which has been working fine for a while now.

my first rig before i knew anythign abotu power suplies i had a cheap 450w. it lasted over 1 year and a half with out ever having one problem, but i feel much safer with my strider thats for sure. the other psu was so cheap it didnt even have the 6 pin pci-e connector for my 7950gt, i had used the adapter for over a year.

I have an 800w psu that is suppousedly from a "bad" company or something...
It hasn't failed me so far...

lol, it was a funny video but why can't they hint at the company? lol

Probberly one of their models ;)

They're not trying to slam or embarass the competition. They're just shining a light on bad PSU's in general.
