I reciently had a BRAND NEW 160GB IBM\Hitachi hard disk given to me.
The Problem which i have is odd.
Drive works gr8, tested it FULLY using IBMs own software and all checks out fine.
Now and then it sounds like the controller resets as u can hear it clicking, but u can still use it, access the data and no loss of performance when this happens.
As i said Drive works perfectly tho.
I thought it was getting hot so i bought 2 AKASA Hard Disk Coolers. 1 for my 120GB Seagate which is ok and 1 for the IBM drive.
Any Ideas?
