Need a new MOBO

I have a very poor ASUS board M2n-SLI-DELUXE and I need to ditch this pos. Sound has been plaguing me, half volume all the time, popping in and out. Nothing fixes it, new sound card, new driver, cleaning drivers, new speakers...nothing fixes it.

Board is krap. So I need a new one. And I want a good performer and I have a AMDX2 6000 chip and a 8800 GTS 512 card.

I just need to be able to place those in, and it would be nice if the board would take newer AMD chips too. And I don't need crossfire or SLI, I never need two video cards.

So any suggestions? I am frustrated with ASUS boards, so I prefer none of those if possible.

Thanks in Advance, oh I also still have an IDE HD I use, so would need an IDE slot.

I know you said no Crossfire/SLi, but any of the other board that don't have it are crappy with a 125TDP CPU like your 6000+ (like the 780g or the 770 series)
