cpu temp and case fans

hey all got my rig running but the cpu temps seem a little high to me 40-45c idle(stock cpu cooler couldnt get the xigmatek rifle to fit with the nb heatsink on)

what solutions if any is there for that maybe a different nb cooler that would allow me to use the xigmatek?

also is there a way to turn up the case fans on a nzxt tempest case?

imnot sure if there is a way to turn up the fans on that one please correct me if im wrong but you can allways get one of those seprate fan speed controls things iv seen em on the net some where

found a nzxt fan speed controller looks a bit techey to me but have a look at it any way

put the cooler so the fan is facing the NB not so the fan is facing the RAM

whats ur ambient temp? In the summer it can easily get that way on idle with stock cooler.

ambient temp roughly 40 c but im in central air ---wish i could get the xigmatek to fit wit the nb heatsink gonna look for a smaller cpu cooler

could anyone suggest one that might fit on my mobo with less bottom space?
