Argh! Need a replacement fan for my northbridge!

OK, just finishing installing the replacement.

I now know that I despise push pins. A bit of a tight fit. It could have used a millimeter or two shaved out from the mounting holes, as they were spaced just a little wide, but I got it to work.

Near-silence is a nice sound. The only noise coming from my computer now is the case fans, CPU fan, and the 120mm mounted on my GFX card. It's hardly any louder than the fan on my wife's computer.

It's funny how much bigger northbridge heatsinks have gotten as chipsets get more and more complex.

Look at some of the ones on asus boards, give you a headache just trying to follow the maze of heatpipes
