SATA, faster write speed and cable is thinner.

The main difference i would say is the thinner cable. Better airflow.

SATA, more airflow is good for your case

SATA for a number of reasons, it is much faster, thinner cabling, and sooner or later you will not find MB with IDE controlers on them.

SATA for sure. It has faster speeds tha IDE, the cable is smaller/thinner, and IDE is a way of the past. The future is SATA.
