clamps, meh, the tubing fit on so tight its not even funny. And apparently i ordered the wrong size herbies

Trust me, clamps are y our friend.

Take for example, your pump dies, pressure in the loop builds up and a tube pops off a barb, a grand in hardware destroyed, 10 bucks in clamps is cheap insurance.

Ya i ordered clamps, either they sent me the wrong ones or i ordered the wrong ones. They'll get clamped eventually. I have to order a new board from newegg anyway as the DFI boards like to die if i push them past 440 FSB.

Well i figured the first one was just bad, the 2nd one did the same thing, so now i wont be buying a third. You cant judge off just one board. Especially since all the reviews have been good. But i'm guessing i'll be going rampage formula next.

enjoy the rampage my maximus was great for over clocking, i could boot 4.0 ut it would crash when i ran any games or 3d app.

booting on 4.0 was a cakewalk on my 680i.. that is nothing special

even 4.0 3dmark was managable without trying to hard
