Hey,
Im going to be getting a new HD 4870 soon and I was going to reformat my system so the new GPU will have a nice clean setup for its drivers.
I try to keep my other drivers up to date (ie chipset, sound card, etc). I was just wondering if someone could help me find the most up to date drivers for my system. Like should I get the chipset drivers from intel:
Download Search Results
or ASUS:
ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-
ASUS hasn't updated their chipset for the p5b-deluxe since 2007 but intel updated it about a month ago. Should I still stick with the motherboard manufacture or should I get intel's most up to date chipset.
Also, I havn't been on creative's website in a while. When I try to click on sound blaster under support I get an internal server error. Ive got a driver update from 2006 for my audigy 2 zs. Is there anything newer for an audigy 2 zs?
I already have my bios up to date (ver. 1233). I'm just making sure I have all the necessary drivers so I can enjoy my new HD 4870 when it comes in.
Oh and Im on xp professional (32-bit).
Thanks,
darkop
