I just built a puter with a biostar mobo (model #mcp6p-m2). I installed the driver for my onboard audio and when I rebooted it wasn't working. I downloaded and installed the driver from there website and it still doesn't work. It goes through the whole installation process and says it was sucessful and to reboot. When I do there isn't a driver for my audio. What the hang could be causing this? i am running XP SP3.

In device manager does it have yellow triangle and exclamation mark on your sound card?.. I recently had an issue with vista where the same exact problems were happening. Complete install tells me to reboot but nothing working. Anyways, after 1 week of trying to resolve the problem trying driver cleaning software and all sorts, I just reinstall Vista and now it runs perfect again..

I called Biostars tech support. I had to download the latest driver off of realteks website. Seems like to me that there Biostar's website isn't offering the latest versions. Thanks anyway.
