I already have all the necessary diagnostics files to create a diagnostics partition of my Compaq Deskpro 2000 5166MMX but whenever i try to create a new diagnostic partition it says that i dont have the necessary disk space to install the the files needed and i must have at least 2 MB of space at the beginning of the hard drive. I must also have the diagnostics information on my MBR.
I have a 4GB DOS newly-formatted hard drive and I like to install the Compaq diagnostics. What should I do?
(The diagnostics files dont include any manuals.)
