should i step up to a 780i ftw for 20$ plus shipping? i have a 750i ftw there doesnt seem to be much diference exeot the 8 phase power, and it may give me more over clockign room plus it has 3 way sli which i dont think i would ever do but is a perk.

Just get a cheap 650i or something, you won't like it, but use that for a while

umm purchase a cheap one open box from the egg and use your computer gimped. I bought a G31 board for 37 bucks off the egg. It overclocked like 500mhz but it worked...

Are you stepping up through EVGA? I just checked their forums and from what I can tell they aren't doing a step up for the 780i FTW
