Default Re: new pc for gaming

It is faster, but not enough to make a noticeable difference in gaming. With Cas 5, 5-5-5-15 DDR2 1066 RAM, you don't know if you can definitely drop it to DDR2 800 4-4-4-12, as with these you know they already do that, and will hit Cas 5 5-5-5-15 when it comes to overclocking your Q6600 (if applicable)

Also remove the Asus P5Q Pro and the HD 4850, and add it like this to save $30:

- Open your Wish List and remove the HD 4850 and the Asus P5Q Pro
- Open the Asus HD 4850's Newegg page
- Scroll to Combo's and Essentials
- Hit "View All"
- Then look for this combo:
# ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
# ASUS EAH4850/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
(I'm pretty sure its the second one)
- Hit buy this combo and it adds it to your wishlist
I do not accept help requests and/or deleted threads/complaints by PM, Profile or IM/Email. Just ask on the forums! Also, I do have Lockerz invites if you want them, feel free to PM me your email if you want one :0

If I help you, or you just like what I said, rep me by clicking the

.. But things don't go according to plan! My Actual Rig, 2009:
