I'd like to keep everything pretty much the same, just cheaper. I've looked but people here are usually better.

Thanks everyone.

I'd get the Q6600 OEM since its cheaper since I wouldn't spend that much on a Dual-Core thats going to get outdated really soon.. If you want a Dual-Core still check out the e7200, it has half the cache of the e8400 and but 9.5 Multiplier (so it overclocks better)

Well, that motherboard is the same price and it might not fit the xigmatek. I'd rather get something that I know will fit it.

And I'd rather get the e8400, I'm only going to 4GHZ. And I heard the e8400 was good for that.
And that memory cost more, I will never get around to sending the MIR's in.
Any other suggestions?

Buy the NZXT Tempest from Surgevel...

Thats it.. the e7200 can still hit 4.0ghz and you'd save some cash there....... I remember some guy on this forum who had no idea what he was doing (xDRox) managed to hit 4.5ghz... and his vid was pretty decent 1.250

I'll probably buy from new egg, because I probably will get free shipping because they never credited my account back for the refund.(The shipping)

Other then the e7200, any other suggestions on lowering price?

get it from here
Corsair TX 650W ATX12V Power Supply - CMPSU-650TX
I'd think you need to talk with Newegg CSR and double check if you are indeed getting free shipping ;)
will you be going with crossfire in the future?? how about a P45 board?
that Asus p45 board + Asus HD 4850 combo is looking hawt
since this is a gaming build, you sure you want a generic mouse?
