Hey guys I purchased my computer parts at about December of last year. I didn't want to take the time to put it together so I got someone else to do it. Here are the specifications:
-Q6600 Quad-core running @ default 2.4ghz
-2 x 2gb Kingston RAM
-8800GTX (Default settings)
-500GB Seagate hard drive (Only used about 50GB)
Well that's the important ones, if you need any other info I can post it.
Anyway, randomly my computer freezes for 1-3s and then comes back. Usually this happens due to internet lag, but usually it causes my latency to go through the roof. I haven't had this problem before and I don't think it's a virus. I use AVG (free edition) and all the files are updated etc.
My older computer is running more constantly than this new one. Also, sometimes if it freezes or during lag the entire computer restarts. Either that or it goes to this blue screen that mentions a physical memory dump, or something like that.
I'd appreciate some input on this issue as it is frustrating me greatly. I can't play games or do anything with this horrible freezing.
