6800 Size

How big are the 6800's size wise? I ask because my Mid-Tower case is packed to the gills with cables, drives and cards, and I don't know if I will be able to fit a 6800 card in there. I struggled when I installed my FX 5600 card. I have to move things around and unplug things to get it in. Do most people who have this problem move to a Full Tower case, or do they just start replacing all the cables with round ones to save space?

u can always try putitng order in ur casse, as of the size, im not to shur. It should fit in the case. Try moving some stuff around if u dont have the space.

I think there are 2 types. one take 2 slots (due to a HUGE active heat sink) and then there is another card (BFG I think makes it) that is lower profile.

i think only the ultra takes up two . . .

the regular and gt are regular sized . . .

at least . . . thats the eVGA cards

Sleeve up all of your wires (nylon recommended) and attach them to the exterior (top) of the case. You should gain a lot of room and have increased airflow.

I have the eVGA 6800 GT, it is very long but not that big. Not wide at all.
