I've been using the same card that came with my computer since I purchased it in 2004. It's an Intel (R) 82915G/GV/910GL. Is it outdated? Should I buy a newer video card?

but honestly with a computer that old you may be better of building a new one, instead of upgrading just the video in that old thing. New CPU and ram will help too.
If you must put a new vid card in that one, I wouldn't put anything better than an 8600GT in it. Just not worth putting more money into it than that.
I don't plan on buying another PC until after college. I rarely use mine for gaming now anyway. I just wasn't sure how old my current card actually was.
