MS Works Conflict

I recently installed MD Works Suite 2004 over MS Works Suite 2000.

MW Works 2000 includes a program called Home Publishing, which isn't in MS Works 2004. I want to continue to use HPub; accordingly, I set this up with a seperate icon on my desktop. However, this doesn't work.

I can open Home Publishing and bring up various graphics, but when I start to do anything with the graphic, the 2004 Task Launcher opens and I can't proceed with Home Publisher. When I close the Launcher, then HPub freezes and I have to close it by using ctrl/alt/delete.

Any suggestions how to fix?

Re-install over the top. Check that your system meets the minimum system requirements, and if you have norton system works, run windoctor. Hope this helps.
