i don't like the ram you got (not the brand just the specs) besides that it looks like a great build.

? What's wrong with the specs!?

^timings, i don't really get what the point is in getting ram that your going to have to tighten the timings on and then the speed increase you get by getting the higher mhz ram is bearly noticable. Why would you not just get 800mhz ram instead and tighten the timings really low and the speed increase would be more noticable. (this is all of what i have heard, not done)

timings do not affect current intel cpus as much as overall bandwidth does. 1000 mhz 5,5,5,15 is not bad at all.

how much better are they compared to the 8800GT? I guess I could always step up but still...= \

As for the ram again...is the Cheapest 4GB Kit that was accually GOOD ><

i couldnt agree more, first thing i thought was 4850. its the best price/perf card. 8800gt is gettin old.

4850 performs just under a 9800gtx if memory serves me correctly, but for the price the 4850 is alot better. (in Australia i think in usa prices are similar so either is good, maybe nvidia since better support)

thats right, even better, ati might be making a comeback. these cards are great prices and even better performance.
