Having trouble hitting 3.6Ghz with Q6600

Im thinking about just selling this chip and getting a E7200 to OC to 4Ghz

VID is the voltage your cpu requires to run at stock and cannot be changed. What you need to adjust is the CPU voltage( it might be called cpu core voltage). Try increasing the CPU Voltage to 1.45 like veedubfreak suggested while running only two sticks of ram.

yeah, I got it fixed the other day. I'm using 2 sticks of ram, volts at 1.47, and SPD at 2x
