Xigmatek Power Supply

The latest issue of CustomPC i have did a test on tons of PSUs and the higher power Xigmateks flopped out completely when given lots of load....I can scan the article later.

Did the ripple cause it to go out of spec?

The Xigmatek 650/750w are made by CWT. They are the EXACT same internals as the Corsair 650tx and 750tx. They are also the same price but the only difference is that they are modular. I purchased one for a friends build because he wanted modular cabling and the Xigmatek have a pretty good warranty (limited lifetime) and as i said they are just about as good as the 650TX and 750TX.

yes your right the same as the supply that you own except the thermaltake are expensive...

The Corsair and the Xigmatek are the exact same insides. Meaning their rails are the exact same. The Xigmatek have modular cabling...
