Hello everyone,

i formatted windows and installed XP on a IDE HDD,
anyway, i come into windows and my 400GIG Sata2 HDD has been replaced by a 10meg FAT16 format drive!!!

i had two partitions, 20GIG and 380GIG. both containing files..
i have tried to rebuild partition using Partition table doctor and also tried to recreat masterboot record, the cylinder heads and sectors don't in windows to the amount the hDD actually is.

when i go into computer management, it has 390 GIG's unallocated!
how can i get my partitions back, or at least my folders containing the files!

Thank you

Hello,

Use Disk Managment to recreate your partitions. From there use Recover my Files to try and get yoru files back.

Cheers,
Mak

It's ok, i used GetBackData and restored everything!

id recommend GetBackData (i bought it for 79USD)
