New build, everything ok, any suggestions?

hey, time for a new pc, any suggestions? havnt really been keeping in touch with the latest gadgets
just worried about bottlenecking and being underpowered interms of motherboard

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L Intel® P35 + ICH9 Chipset 1333/1066/800 MH

CPU:

will work out moniter and psu later but will make sure to get a good branded 1 (will 500w do?)

looks fine, mobo's now have pice 2.0 slots but they are backwards compatible (a gpu doesn't even use the bandwidth that is available)

I would just pick up some corsair or ocz ram though.

You also might want to get a 7200.11 seagate 500gb hdd instead of that.

Are you overclocking?

I would say get a 520hx corsair but the pc power and cooling 610w silencer is around the same price so get that instead.
 
the 4850 and 9800gtx are about on par with each other with the 9800gtx costing a bit more and performing a bit better. (5-7fps difference)
 
k thats cool... is there anything else i will need to buy apart from case moniter and psu.. would i need to buy a new heatsink?
