8800gs sell or step up?

I was thinking two things either sell for a hundred and get 4850, or wait a month and get the 9800gtx+ since the msrp will be 230 instead of the 350 evga wants for the 9800tx to step up. What do you guys think?

It really depends how the 9800 is performing.
Personally, I'd wait.

well i am not a ati fan but the waiting for the 9800gtx sounds good to me or you could look at a 8800gts 512mb

i'd say go for a 9800gtx+ when they come out and step up if you can. only because that would make the most sense in my mind. most performance for least cost.

yeah that is what I was thinking, but by then I could get the 4850 for like 170 and it would prob have better drivers out, what is your guys experiance with new cards? do they usually get a lot better with driver updates or not so much.

kinda off topic but if you buy a 9800 gtx now, would they let you step it up to a 9800 gtx+ when it comes out (with evga)

probably not because the MSRP value is going to be less on the gtx+
