Microphone issues, please help?

Hello TRK,

It does sound like you are missing some components of yoru Windows Sound Controls. Maybe try a repair install to see if that helps get them installed? Other than that i do not think trying any other drivers will help. Might cause more trouble for you than it currently is.

hmmm... alright, ill try that... question tho: a repair install wont mess up my registry or anything, will it? or anything else for that matter? im not sure...

and other than that... any other ideas, anyone? - RK

Hello TRK,

No a repair install just replaces the Windows files. It does not affect your Registry or any of your current applications installed. They will still owrk after the repair. For more info on the Repair:
