I have been offered a 32gb ssd for NZ$270 and was wondering if i should get it, i dont know how much faster things would load but if i got a brand new one it would cost NZ$1200. I cant find any reveiws so any help would be appreciated, model number is TS32GSSD25S-M made by Transcend

Personally I don't think solid state drives are worth it. Unless you don't like noise and have problems with cooling.. but even then you could get cooling cheaper than an SSD.

ok thanks ive decided not to get it, I also looked on the manufacturers website and apart from seek time it is way slower than my RAID array, infact it would be just as good to use a usb memory stick the speeds are that slow...
