Gateway Laptop LCD Screen

I have a gateway 255-E and it needs a new LCD screen. It has a 14.1 WXGA TFT ACTIVE MATRIX screen. What I need to know is what will work on this machine. I see that there is a W340UI 14.1 WXGA LCD screen glossy for sale and was wondering if it will plugin and work on my machine. Any help would be great.

Your best option is to contact Gateway to get a replacement screen. They will advise you on getting a screen that is fully compatible with the Laptop.
