Monitor choice - need advice, please help

Hi guys


I have a ps3 but need to buy a monitor to get the most out of the graphics. 170 is about my budget, can anyone help me out?


Its a toss up between these 2 at the moment, 1 has a HDMI socket which is appealing, the others DVI socket is HDCP compliant anyway, can anyone offer some advice?

Any recommendations would be great, Ideally i d like a 1920x1080 monitor with hdmi and a good contrast ratio, but my budget isn't exactly through the roof.

My budget is 170 pounds but I can go over if need be, i didn't realize this was a US forum.


As I say what ever advice you can offer will be appreciated.
 
And me, better response and HDMI, how noticeable is the different contrast ratios? Is it something I should be particularly bothered about?
