9800gtx $200 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130339
8800 gt $140 after MIR - Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N800-TR GeForce 8800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
I run a 1920x1200 monitor and im looking at avg framerates from tomshardware review of the 9800gtx.
Performance Recap - Tom's Hardware : Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX Review
9800gtx - avg 1920x1200 no aa/af 50
8800gt - avg 1920x1200 no aa/af 41.9
~19% performance increase for ~43% price increase
I just saw the 9800gtx drop to $200 and was like i gotta have this, but the 8800gt still is ver y attractive price/performance cost.
I dunno what to do, tho im pretty sure i wont want the new ati cards, just from past experience with their drivers.
