what is the main difference that sets the processors apart besides speed? ( since I can overclock it anyway) .... Cache size ?? how does that effect performance and such ?

Wolfdale CPU's (aka the dual-core 45nm's) don't work well with a 6 series board

Yes, The Intel E2180 is $70 and can beat a AMD 5000+ Black Edition that costs $10 more.

i beg to differ. it is totally dependent on the overclocker and other components wether this is true. i haven't seen too many 2180 rigs that can beat mine. but then again...i dont **** around.

apperently hyper threading isnt useless if its being used in nahalem... and pretty much affectively making a quad core an octocore... doesnt sound useless to me
