8800GT or 8800GTS 512?

Birthday is coming up, and I usually get stuff from my parents early. I think I'm going to go for a video card. My old sexy X1950XT is starting to struggle with the new games. Time for an upgrade. :'(

Anyways, Newegg has an XFX 8800GT for $130 after a $30 rebate.

They have an XFX 8800GTS 512 for $230.

Is the GTS worth the extra $100? I looked at some benchmarks, and it seems the GTS isn't scoring that much higher than the 8800GT. Not by more than 10FPS on the benchies I've seen.

And yes I know new stuff is coming out. I don't care, I can't afford it.
