I found a great deal on a computer localy...
I would just pick up a 8800GTS and call it a day... whata u guys think? run AoC on almost max settings on a 22'' monitor ??

I know the 3500 is old...but would it be a bottleneck when overclocked ??

also wondering what type of memory it is using... prolly DDR ?

not sure... I just sent him an email. he only wants 200 for the whole thing... but if it won't run a 8800GTS I'm prolly not gonna bother...

But would It bottleneck it so much that I would notice a huge reduction in performance ??

for $200 +160 for a 8800GTS I can have a good system to play Aoc on... whata u guys think ?

or would even the 8800gts be overkill for such an old system?

I'm assuming I can overclock the CPU to around 3.0 GHZ...and its a dual core :)

I'm still waiting to hear back from him about the mobo...

Its overkill for a single core processor, just upgrade the CPU... find out if its 939 or AM2 and buy a new one..
