Not sure which ram to buy, ddr2 800 ghz or 1066 ghz

yes if u pass 4GHz u will need to overclock it but u will need good cooling

You wont pass 4ghz on a q6600 unless you have phase cooling.

Well there are some decent D9 Micron RAM that can do it, Veedubfreak, Nosboost and Mgcook have done it with decent DDR2 800 kits

but you'll need a good cooler, like a Water Cooling or Air Condition Cooler

Not with great temps, you can try, some experienced people with lucky q6600's could do it, but they also had good coolers, and only used that for 3dmark06 test purposes, not as a permanent clock

Don't whine if you don't get 4.0ghz like somebody else has, each chip is unique
