Help with graphics adapter

I just put together my computer that you guys helped me build (1st build from scratch and went together surprisingly easy) until I try and get my graphics card installed.

OS Windows vista 64bit

I have installed all the software and it still doesn't recognize the adapter in my device manager. I have tried uninstalling the (standard VGA Graphics Adapter) and starting over fresh and keep coming up the same thing. It has a yellow triangle over the icon with an exclamation mark on it since it isn't working.

Any help straightening this out would be appreciated.

Any ideas? I'm kinda at a loss. The monitor works when it is plugged into the output, but the actual driver isn't being loaded. There is nothing to pick from like it isn't even there.

download the video drivers on nvidia.com

lol...i dont think they have hd3870 x2 drivers at nvidia.com

try these. they are the latest, to my knowledge.
