and btw, i read tomshardware OC guide and it didnt mention anything about underclocking RAM ;o

ok, ill try changing the ram MHZ and if that doesnt work ill try the vCore, but it shouldnt be the vCore should it? unless ive got a bad chip

it's most likely the vcore. But you should first oc the cpu and underclock the ram so if it is unstable, then you know its the cpu. Instead of trying to guess if its the ram or cpu. Thats why I said to oc the cpu and underclock the ram.

ok, i was gonna do that but the memory is unclickable if you understand and i click on system multiplier above it and it comes up with numbers, i just left it lol

Do you have a gigabyte board? If so press ctrl+f1

yeh i got a gigabyte, do you need to press ctrl+f1 everytime you enter the bios?

if so ill check that out

i got it 2.3ghz with no BSOD, it was the RAM, thanks for telling me, i shall carry on overclocking xD
