Would you download cpuz and post a screenshot of the cpu tab. I am guessing you have an E2160 now and if I am right you could overclock your current cpu and might not need to get a new one.

You just said... you had a Pentium 4.... Thats a Core 2 Duo...

so just upgrade your current system...

A video Card is probably limiting you and your crappy board might stop you from overclocking..
 
OOOH... he's got a lucky M0 Revision over an L2, he can clock that past 3.0ghz really easily...
 
VID isn't the be all end all...my Q6600 B3 had a 1.325 vid and clocked to 3.86ghz...my Q6600 g0 had a 1.275 vid which is not great at all for a g0 and did 4.05ghz, 3.84ghz stable with 1.5v, 3.6ghz with 1.425v
