Hi,

Lately i've been noticing that when i turn on my computer my Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse is occasionally (more than often) not turning on although its plugged in. The underlight on it is shining but the top LED's that show mouse DPI are not turning on so it's like the mouse is on but doesnt have enough power to actually work? that's what it seems like.

The only way to fix this i've found is to physically wait 1-3hours and then it will just fix itself and start working..? for the time being i use my old MX500 but it's becoming a real pain as i need my G5 for most stuff i do as im so used to it and it's sensitivity/feel.

I've tried every USB port in computer and tried unplugging various other USB peripherals incase there isn't enough power in the usb hub but this all doesn't fix it. Also tried using a the PS/2 adaptor / port, still no fix. I've tried reinstalling SetPoint and scanning for new hardware on XP control panel etc and nothing as well.

Have you updated or installed your chipset drivers for your motherboard/system?
