its highly regarded for its performance for $20

With an AF7 i would say safe temps at around 3-3.2ghz.

it's one of the best you can get for your money. Honestly a dual-core CPU with an AF7 can be maxed out with safe temps. However once you get to quad's you need something more powerful.

what about mine? I plan to get an HD 4870 x2 depending on how much a performance gain is from mine.

You should upgrade your CPU too, that HD 3870X2 probably is already bottlenecked by your CPU

oh ya definitely. After i went from 3.0GHz to 3.33GHz, i had a huge performance in everything. I want to get to 3.6GHz before i get rid of it. Nagasama is almost to 3.4GHz last time i talked to him.

I wish my board would let me get stable past 3ghz. I can get to 3.1, and run 3dmark but itll bsod eventually.
