Help: Best Overall motherboard for AMD and Intel (Under $100)

Back to the OP...the DS3L right now have some issues with their overclocking features. A bunch of people have a problem where you have no control of the fsb or voltage control until you reset the CMOS...i guess once you change it you have no control again or something. My friends we built is having problems with that too.

And if so, name a cpu and motherboard,

cpu that is comparable to q6600 and motherboard that is good but cost < 100

Q6600 is cheaper than both phenom 9750 and 9850 at newegg anyway

I would go with Q6600 whether you overclock or not

The Q6600 at the moment is probably the best bang for the buck. The AMD Quads are just terrible and horribly priced. With the new Triple core chips, AMD proved to Intel, that they could not compete. I mean honestly, who the **** sells a Tricore for 195$ when the competitors quad is 200$, and can back hand slap it any day of the week. As for me I do love the X2's despite their faults, but I wouldn't pay over 80$ for one.

The best bang for the buck AMD has at the moment is some of their graphic cards and probably the 4800+ and 5000+ Black edition. Anything more expensive just isn't worth the money.
