whoa... i just did this and my score was awwwful... and i have a Raptor X!
i didnt close any of my open programs right now tho... would that make a huge difference?
or is there anything else to do to bring my score up to where it should be?

it's 1024 instead of 1000, because that's how computers count..... they use binary (base 2)
2^10... (or the number of possible values in a 10-bit binary number) = 1024

Nothing anymore, they have a bad reputation though. Their recent stuff is not bad at all and your benchmarks prove it.

As for the burst speed, did you enable write caching? Is the drive SATA II?
