Dude I m still using a 8600GT 512MB GDDR2, anything other then GDDR2 sounds sexy to me. In all honesty, I m probably going to get the 3870 GDDR4. Plain and simple, it'll be nice to have a card that has memory operating at crazy speeds

512GTS > 9600gt and 8800gt
I'd recommend an 8800gt over a 9600gt and HD3870.
That's just imho.

Anyways have you decided what you are going to get for your video card? the 8800GT is a great card and you can find it for almost $160 in places but you may want to get an aftermarket cooler.
