as i had unexpected Car problems i had to spend money on that instead of a long overdue pc upgrade

this is what i have come up with
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 OR E8200 depending on money i have when i buy it
Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3
2X2Gb DDR2 800
500Gb Samsung SATA2 HDD
8800GT 512Mb
Samsung 20X SATA DVD Writer
Antec NSK 6580 with PSU
BUILD AND ONSITE WARRANTY
TOTAL $910-$935 AUD (AUSTRALIAN)
Does this look ok  i will be using this mostly for games and work BS
Is there anything i should change or does this look decent.

Thanks.SF

If you're building this yourself, you need a case. I'm a personal fan of the E8400, but either works nice. Overall, nice job.

the case is a Antec NSK 6580 with 430w Earthwatts
and its has Build and 3 years onsite warranty cause i dont have time
EDIT thinks of changin it a bit to something like this
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 BOX CPU With ThermalRight Ultra 120
Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 P35 MB
4096Mb 4Gb DDR2 800 Memory
750Gb Samsung SATA2 HDD
ASUS 8800GT 512Mb
Pioneer20X SATA DVD Writer
Antec Nine Hundred Tower
Antec True Power 3.0 550W
Total 1125
inc build and warranty like before

Everything looks good to me. Antec makes great cases. And with the ThermalRight Ultra cooler, you'll be all set if you plan to overclock.

Yeah I will be Ocing first to 3.6ghz which i could do on stock cooling then 4.0ghz
is there any over HSF i should look at i heard the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 is good has any got one are they any good

Half the forum has one by now, but those people only ask for builds and leave, so hardly anybody will respond to having one, but it is a great CPU Cooler, challenges the TRUE 120 in performance, real great CPU for $38

Also I'd recommend the E8400 over the e8200, also keep in mind that there are Q6600's, unless you plan to upgrade to a Quad within a couple of years then get a Dual-Core now, otherwise pickup a Quad-Core Q6600 right now over the E8400 as its more future proof

I am going with Build

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 BOX CPU With ThermalRight Ultra 120
Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 P35 MB
4096Mb 4Gb DDR2 800 Memory
750Gb Samsung SATA2 HDD
ASUS 8800GT 512Mb
Pioneer20X SATA DVD Writer
Antec Nine Hundred Tower
Antec True Power 3.0 550W also the Corsair psu are overpriced in aus
