How to install harddrive.

1 GB is 1024 MB.
Maybe you could create partitions on the large drive while it is slaved, then use Ghost to clone your smaller drive onto one of the partitions. Then swap the jumpers or whatever and make the larger drive the master. Or remove the smaller one completely.

i have already jump 500 gb into master drive now just want to install xp but i m waiting for that is there risk for 40 gb to b deleted i dont want lose my 40 gb data... please guyz help me u help me alot now some more please thx in advance

you can set your 40gig as the primary and install the os there.. and you can divide your 500gb hard disk into smaller partitions like what you want and save all yor data to to that hard disk.. you can use 3rd party software to subdivide your hard disk and the important part is it will save your 500gb hd if somethings goes wrong because they are separated logically

it is easy to figure out how many MB the 125GB is. Open calculator.

125GB* 1024MB will equal 128,000. So it would be 128,000MB.
