Actually, the 650TX would not handle more than one of the new GTX280 if it has the rumored 6 pin + 8 pin power requirements. It only has 2 x 6+2 pin PCI-E power connectors, so any card that takes more than one 8 pin or 6 pin power would not be able to SLI with this power supply. But obviously, the 750tx could :D Go 750tx FTW!

a 750TX would go nicely with any updating you do to your pc

i have a 750TX sat here and its 200W+ overkill for my rig (in sig) but i'm considering putting 4 more HDD's in and a BLU-RAY RW and i know it will handle that so it will handle 2 280's

Well will the 750TX have two 6+8 pin connector and handle it in terms of watts?

I checked and each GTX280 will require 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin connecotrs

Check out: www.LLY.get.to: Nvidia GTX280 & GTX260 Specifications

If you dont belive me...
shows GTX260 aswell as GTX280.

So will the 750TX be good in terms of pin connectors and watts?

ill just go with a Ultra X Pro 750 Watt Power Supply.
Ultra makes very good PSU's plus it had 6 and 8 pin connectors.
