I have just completed building my 1st pc since I was in 10th grade with the help of a co-worker. The only problem I am having is that he left to China for the month and now I need help, go figure.:rolleyes:

Anyways the prob. I am having is that I have been reading...Ok that not it but as I read I keep hearing everyone talking about the pc runs at 28*c-35*c when at idial and 36*c-45*c with full load. Now does idial mean on stand-by or something else?

Any help is apprishated
thanks,
Dave

Ok, thanks. So mine runs at 36-37C when just messing around and when playing games all night 40C does this sound ok?

thanks,
Dave

You can find out most things about your CPU, motherboard and main memory using CPU-Z.

Idle = 0% to 15% CPU usage,
Load = 15% to 85%,
Heavy load (gaming, or @Home projects) 85% to 100%,

Intense load = 100% for 24 hours or more, this tests stability.
