Display Woes

Hello folks. Maybe some of you can help me out. I have a Dell Laptop and i just re-imaged it with WinXP Pro. Now, every time i reboot, it the display settings revert to 800 x 600. No big deal, but it is pretty annoying. Any suggestions?

have you got the correct video drivers installed.
We had this problem a few months back when I was building a new image for our company. Had to build it with 7 different installed video drivers to cover all of the variations that we in the varying hardware platforms. Lots of fun...

yeah, i got the right driver installed. I mean everything works perfectly, it just sucks having to switch it back every time i log on.
